Alumni Day 2003 Panel Discussion
The Department of Philosophy presented a panel discussion of alumni on Alumni Day, Homecoming 2003, on October 17, 2003. The topics discussed were the career path they have chosen, obstacles they have faced and how they overcame them, how they made the most of their degree and how it helped them in career success.
Participants agreed that majoring in philosophy gave them life-long skills, such as critical thinking, writing, evaluation, problem solving, and analyzing information.
